The Starter of Stories; the Finisher of Tales

Once is all it takes; one thing, one time, to become the first sentence of the rest of our lives or a part of a past purposefully left behind. Once will change our north and spin a sensible story upon its head – belly up and vulnerable. Once will spur us on to better things, allow us the occasional guilty pleasure, measure our next steps, remind us of triumphs and failures, or dreams dashed by reality and the unfortunate fall of humanity manifested in wrong decisions and unkind words. Once is a moment, a choice, a thought - brief in time, underestimated in value.

It only happened once, but once is all it takes.
